CATHAY-22

If you’re looking for a delicious meal, look no further than Cathay 22. Conveniently located off Route 22 in Springfield, Cathay 22 has been serving some of the greatest Chinese cuisine in New Jersey since 1985. That’s not just hearsay, either. The restaurant has been scored in the Top 5 for Chinese cuisine in the entire state, as rated by the prestigious Zagat restaurant guide. Family owned and operated since it’s inception, the Wang family has managed to bring to fruition the dream of creating authentic, savory Sichuan cuisine for discerning diners near and far.

Working together as a close tight-knit team, they’ve achieved some amazing results. For over 22 years, Cathay 22 has a history of excellent cuisine. The restaurant also boasts award-winning chefs from Sichuan and other regions of China. These culinary wizards work their magic with spices and ingredients imported directly from China, such as star anise Ba-Jhiao and prickly seeds Hua-Jhiao. One-of-a-kind dishes marry true tradition with a surprising kick, as evidenced in Cathay 22’s “Crazy Beef”, which is beef tenderloin in a spicy oil and golden fried puffs filled with meat and eggplant.

Cathay offers diners unique tastes in a stylish atmosphere. It’s fantastic for parties, family meals, romantic dinners, or business luncheons. It is for these reasons that it has been transformed from a once humble restaurant into a long-lasting New Jersey phenomenon. Come on down to see for yourself.

CIOFFI'S RESTAURANT & PIZZERIA

“Serving Fine Southern Italian Food For Over 40 Years.”

In 1958, Carmen and Antonietta Cioffi came to the United States from Naples, Italy. They had a dream of bringing their unique, delicious cooking to a larger audience, and in 1963 achieved that goal by opening their very own pizzeria in Union, NJ. By 1974, Carmen Sr. moved the pizzeria to its present location at 929 Stuyvesant Avenue in Union and introduced a full-service restaurant featuring the finest homemade selection of Italian dishes. Just a few years later, an express take-out section was added along with a private party room to accommodate requests for on-premise catering. The restaurant and cocktail bar are open daily for lunch and dinner.

The Cioffi family worked long hours at the pizzeria, establishing a loyal following that continues today. The comfortable atmosphere attracted customers from all over the community as Cioffi’s in Union quickly became a landmark restaurant.

Presently Cioffi’s also offers their incredible food for off premises catering. If you’re planning a party, Cioffi’s will cater either at your home or in our own private party room, which can accommodate up to 120 of your valued guests. It is the Cioffi way of letting you enjoy the same delicious food we serve in our dining room, but without the hassles of planning and organizing an entire affair. Whatever you decide, you are assured of delicious Italian food prepared in the Cioffi’s family tradition.
